Welcome Girl Scouts to Minnie's Kitchen Cooking School, I hope you will take advantage of having a cooking school in your local area. I completed First Aid/ CPR at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, which is one of the requirements, for teaching the Girl Scouts. I'm glad I took this course, I learned some things I didn't know. The best part of the class is knowing that I can now help save a life. It's a good thing.

I'm also looking forward to meeting local Girl Scout troops and leaders. The classes I have planned for the Girl Scouts are innovative, educational, & fun. The types of cooking we will be doing will be based on age groups. It's not my intention to scare anyone from helping their mom in the kitchen. However, it is important that children help with household duties along with their out of the home recreational activities. It's the foundation for their future.

 2 HOUR CREATIVE COOKING CLASS: Recipe knowledge, tool usage, preparation of food and basic sanitation. Students choose what they prepare, table presentation, and best of all they get to eat it, in a sit down country kitchen atmosphere.                                    Cost per student:  $9.50
