A few words: about my cooking school. My name is Diane Reiss. I have cooked professionally for 25 years. I have circa 1950 appliances, (they work too), plus a few more modern appliances. The kitchen colors are all white. My idea to open a cooking school came about in July, 2000, when I decided I had put too much of my time in restaurant managing, and not enough time with my family. Now is the time to share my cooking skills with you. The name Minnie's originates from my very first teacher who started it all for me...my mother. I have several classes available, if you are interested in fine dining, I have numerous ways to show you how to cook with wine. Even if you don't think you like it, you will, because you can't taste the alcohol. I can also show you recipes, you thought only your grandma could do. Cooking at home has gone to the wayside, due to partly the economy, it takes two incomes now days, to pay the bills and the fact that fast food is so convenient. Surprise!! It's not healthy. Fast food is high in calories and expensive. Fine dining at home is not impossible to do. I can show you how. If your style is casual, that's great, I can show you all kinds of convenient, quick to prepare foods that satisfies even the pickiest eater in the household. Guess what! They're not frozen dinners from the supermarket, they are meals you prepare in advance, freeze in your own freezer , pop in the micro to thaw, heat, and serve in 20 minutes. WOW!! "I have a passion for good
food, and a love for all people," says Diane "Putting the two together adds such
joy to my life!" For 25 years, she has been doing just that.
